I moved my Brodie hen and her 11 unfertilized eggs into a dog carrier. She was out in the yard and I'm surprised nothing got her. I have fertilized cochin eggs in the incubator I want to give her but she's growling at me when I go in the room! What can I do to not get attacked? Lol

I would put on gloves! Some broodies are very protective, hence the growling

Sorry not much advice I only had a slightly protective broody before. Happy Hatching!

I have leather motorcycle gloves. Lol she is just a bantam Easter egger but wow!

I used a thick leather glove. She went after me! She almost pecked a fertilized egg. Scared me! Should I give her all 7 eggs? I have her 3.

Just reach under her....she's not going to eat your hand off.
Switch the eggs at night.
You can give her seven as long as she can cover them.
