African versus Brown Chinese

Nothing since Fred the Gander was eaten. Still 4 ducks and Wilma the goose. I want to build them a run and star again but the state is putting a road through my land and will take my house and my barn. Anything I do will just be lost and sunk cost. Once the road comes through, I can rebuild a better place for the ducks.

What will you have to do build a new home too and barn what a bummer. Hope all goes well and your ducks and goose stay safe.

one last comment. I looked at Metzers site and my goose is what they call African. What they call Brown Chinese are more upright and more slight, like runners on ducks. May be just different confirmations but they look different. I was in Louisiana over the weekend and saw a Chinese gander on Bayou Teche. It was smaller than my goose and had a huge knob. But he was also ranging with some goose that look more like mine.
