After bath chick is stumbling and chirping weird

Well What might have happened because depending on the age of the sister she could’ve thought she was helping. Sisters can do some pretty crazy things. Yes a small spurts of cool water is helpful but chickens definitely don’t like being wet
That’s what she thought. She was young and I talked with her and she said she wouldn’t do it again.

Agree with LG. Chickens don't need wet baths, they need DIRT baths. Dig a hole in a shady area and let them dust bathe in it. If you must use water to clean up any poopy feathers or such, blow them dry with a warm (not hot) hair dryer.

I’ve had a couple times my younger niece had to be stopped because she was getting ready to do something that she thought would be helpful. After a while she has finally listened to me keep telling her even if you want to help and you think it’s the right thing talk to aunt Rachel before you do

Maybe her chirping went down because she’s feeling a little more comfortable as she’s getting dried. I have a feeling what she’s dried and warmed up she will be back to normal.
