After bath chick is stumbling and chirping weird

If it were for say dogs would it hurt the chicken? I might be able to go tomorrow to a few feed stores.

In this case, I don't think its absolutely necessary to find some. But it is a "wonder drug" to have on hand.

If you can't find nurtidrench look for save a chick, or rooster booster with vitamins and probiotics. Any would be good to add to thier water to supplement four hot days

I’ll keep an eye for it. Is it the brand name or do other companies have it or even something similer?
Electrolytes and vitamins are helpful for hot days. The Neutra drench I don’t think you will need in this situation but if you are able to order it online it would be handy to have around. But just for hot days I think electrolytes frozen water bottles in their water and frozen or cold fruit . And of course shade and dust bath. It’s been in the mid to upper 90s with heat index in the 90s and over 100 with ridiculous humidity here and that’s what I do for mine
I’m not sure if anything is quite the same. I believe I’ve actually seen it on Amazon believe it or not

I can’t find anything labeled nutri drench at TSC buy do any of these look good?
Well that is weird. I could’ve sworn I got mine at TSC but when I looked on their website it wouldn’t pull up either. On Amazon they have several different sizes. 4 ounces is about 15 bucks. 4 ounces doesn’t sound like a lot but you don’t need a lot at a time either. Also when you use it remember rubber gloves because that stuff STINKS. I noticed Amazon has quite a selection of chicken electrolytes and things. Same stuff they sell at TSC and most farm supply stores. And probably cheaper

Just curious what’s the temp in Ontario. I have a lot of family in Simcoe. Headed there somewhere after next for big family reunion Like close to 300 people big

Save your money on the electrolyte packets. You can make your own from common kitchen items, and it won't cost you a penny. While this recipe calls for KCl, it can be made without it.:

WHO Oral Rehydration Solution

Table Salt (NaCl) 1/2 tsp.*
Salt Substitute (KCl) 1/2 tsp.*
Baking Soda 1/2 tsp.
Table Sugar 2 tablespoons
Tap Water 1 Liter (= 1 Qt. 2 tablespoons)

__________

NOTE: *Morton's Salt makes that is half NaCl (table salt) and half Potassium salt (KCl) and is called "Lite Salt" - if that is what your grocery store has, simply use 1 teaspoon of the the Lite Salt in place of of the table salt and potassium salt.

You can also do a google search for home made electrolyte or pedialyte solution with Koolaid or Jello if you want to make a flavored version for your own use.
