After Christmas I would like to do a block swap. Update first post

That takes the longest time. I cut my work in half by NOT cutting the squares in half and making them 4 inches. This way I had room to square them off. I can't sew a straight line.

ETA: I think I'm doing sixteen 1/2 triangle blocks. Would that make my strips 3 7/8th width?? (Math makes my head hurt.)

TammyTx..I think that is right..I will never do another swap like this..too much brain work!!..Plus I cut out some wrong..which meant I didn't have enough fabric to cut out more correctly, which meant I had to go buy more and they had sold out which meant I had to change fabrics which meant I had to unsew..which means......................I'm ready to throw it all in the garbage!!!..I can hear you Acre..just be quiet!!

I just can't figure out why this one is so troublesome!!..Thank goodness I started now and not March 1st!!

My practice one was with the 1/2 triangles but then I decided to cut by the directions..following the directions!!..that is what messed me up..lol..now I don't know what I'm doing!!

Yes Ginger send your directions..I want to see the difference..I had to buy new fabric..I switched the dark/light...sigh
