Yes, remove some of the eggs and fire up your incubator. 25 eggs are far too many for a duck to successfully cover and incubate. 10 to 12 would be a far more realistic number for your mallard hen to warm evenly if she goes broody.

Thank yall so much!!! And advice and tips are greatly appreciated and will help so much!! I hand raised mine in my house from the time I got them (when they were a couple days old) until they were feathered then they moved to their outside coop. I think I will purchase an incubator and give it a try altho I am very nervous about it! I know there are way too many eggs but I didn't just want to throw them away. Anything else I could do with them?

Are you not eating any duck eggs? I wouldn't suggest eating ones that have been outside for 2 weeks, but her new eggs... Eat them! They are excellent scrambled, fried, any way you like eggs. And duck eggs absolutely make the best baked goods... Brownies are my favorite with duck eggs. Cakes, etc... Yummy! (if they are large, you can sometimes substitute 1 duck for a recipe calling for 2)

I have used one of the pekin eggs to make cornbread! Lol I'm not a huge egg fan..I rarely eat them. Lol I thought about selling them or giving them away to someone to get some use out of them because I don't wanna waste them. The ones I don't incubate I suppose will have to be trashed if one of the hens don't go broody. After that I will start collecting them and putting them to good use. I found an incubating thing under the forums thing but it looks like it's mostly about chickens. Could I post there or is there and separate one for ducks? I'm using the BYC app on my phone..not sure if that matters.
