Hi everyone! I’m a long time reader on this site, but new to post! We purchased 4 chicks at the first of May. It was a man in my neighborhood who had gotten too many and needed to let go of a few. He insisted they were all female but he also said they were 6 months... which they absolutely were not, maybe 6 weeks, but that might have even been a stretch! Anyway I’m worried they may not be female after all, I might just be psyching myself out. Not sure. One of the black ones is significantly smaller then the rest, but maybe she’s just younger? The barred ones have little spur marks on their feet, and the other black one just looks so different than the smaller black one. Any guess on gender would be much appreciated! And a guess on age would be helpful as well! Thank you in advance!
I’m very happy to hear they might be closer to 5-6 months now though, and that everyone believes they are pullets! Thank you!
