Age of chicken?

I don’t know if this is supposed to be in here or if there’s some other place for this, but.. does anyone know how to figure out the age of a chicken. My silver Lace sebright “Lace” i have only owned for almost 2 years now. She is old i can tell that but I don’t know her age. Her eggs don’t hatch anymore. The picture with the to other bird is her children, Lucky and Nugget they are coming up to their first birthday in 2 1/2 months. Any ideas on Lace’s age???

Older birds sometimes show their age in their feet and legs. Legs can thicken. Scales aren't as tight sometimes. Sometimes there's arthritis swelling. Yours still has nice smooth feet and legs, so I'd guess it isn't too old. Probably under 4 years of age, but it's all just guesses.

I'd guess she's probably about three years old.
