I don't see a golden Sussex.
I don't see any males either.

ugh, just going by what TSC told me - what do you think it is? the other light golden they said was a speckled sussex

That doesn't have the characteristics of a Sussex at all. Looks more like a white Leghorn and a female at that.

the darkest one they said was a leghorn, so that may well be - cool, thanks

How old?

I think it is a bit young to tell just yet.


I think you have 2 production reds (or red sex links), a white Leghorn and a possible speckled sussex.

They just turned 5 weeks yesterday, k - thanks all! Fingers crossed I wanted a couple more egg layers - (now that I am selling eggs I am getting greedy, lol) wish me luck!!
