aggressive dorking

so its been sometime since i mentioned my dorkings aggression, and im sad to say it has only gotten worse, ive tried spending time with her, carrying her around but at every chance she gets when she on the ground she attacks me with all her might. i dont want to get rid of her im very attached to her, shes the first one i a rasied from a fluff ball to now, she has started laying randomly , and they are tiny white eggs and she doesnt fully get the concept of laying in the coop, i find them on the ground in the dirt near by when she lays them, and i get 2 eggs from her for every 15 my oldest chicken lays, im willing to try anything to make this stop, she only attacks me, no one else, and suggestion would be great help

Sounds like she is very dominant. Have you tried pushing her to the ground, pressing on her back? Like a rooster would.

And after she attacks you. Chase her, pick her up and pull on her little comb. And give her a firm, "NO!".

I recommend carrying her around, upside down, and do feedings and any other work you can around the coop or yard. And try carrying her in the crease of you elbow, with her butt facing forward and her head down in between you side and arm.

if this was a dog or a cat i wouldnt have an issue giving it a lil smack but im slightly afraid since this is just a chicken but she got me good yesterday and almost ruined my wrist tattoo (less than and inch from where its located) and my instinct was to smack her but i didnt want to hit her with my hand the nearest thing to me at the time was an empty crumpled feed bag, so i swatted her with that and it some what seemed to work, i just feel terrible for having to use force, my other chicken is as sweet as can be and even follows orders when i let them in the front yard to graze and it time to go in for the night i tell them "come on get in the yard" and my red goes running right back into her yard, as well as when the dorking is in my front yard she doesnt attack me. but i will try what you are suggesting, i have to do some yard work today so i will most definitely try it out, my neighbor suggested locking her in the coop for some time, since she used that method on her chickens when they kept jumping the fence to my yard after she put them in time out for some time they stopped jumping the fence. i dont care what i have to do i just want results.

I will be honest. I have booted a chicken in the butt, and slapped a chicken geese, and turkeys. It works. They are still very loving and rotten, though.

well i have the most annoying sweet gum tree in my yard that drops so many leafs and i spent about 3 hour raking up and disposing of them last night, as long as i have something in my hand she seems to stay away,
well the neighbors daughter miss understood the directions of put her chickens from her front to her back yard and threw all for of her chickens in my yard, shortly there after we had to catch and move their 4 back to the proper yard, and my dorking decided that was the time to attack, my neighbors commented they have never seen a chicken do that, so i grabbed her and pushed her to her tummy (which isnt far bc she a short chicken) and swatted her comb back and forth a few times til she stopped moving and making noises, and gladly it seemed to work, for a few minutes, so i tried a few more times, and she seemed to get the picture,
the aggression only happens in the back yard , if i let her inside shes fine or out in the front yard shes fine

thank you so much for your help , it really seemed to work

when it is said to carry my chicken up side down, what do you mean, by her feet, or just cradle her upside down?

Yes by her feet. I had to do that to a OEGB Rooster, who would full out attack me. Raise his hackle feathers and everything. Sounds like the back yard is her domain or her turf. You need to show who is boss in the back yard, possibly.

My Dorking has started attacking me too. She's a real bully. Is this normal for this breed?

I only have one Dorking. My hens are mainly Buffs, with an Easter Egger, and two Cuckoo Marans. The Dorking is the only one that attacks me. She flies at my legs with her head down. She hasn't tried to spur me with her feet. Is this a Dorking trait?
