Aggressive female goose

My pilgrim female goose is starting to attack my tom turkey.my male goose does not bug our turkey.they are pilgrim geese.they are 10 months old.she is not laying yet.is it because of spring and she want to lay soon?when do pilgrim geese start to lay and how many eggs will she lay each year?they are just trying to breed?why is she attacking him? Our tom turkey doesn't start the fight the goose does

In my experience some geese become very territorial during the mating season. It may be necessary to separate the tom from the geese as the goose is fully capable of killing him.

They are separated.they are fighting between the fence. When is breeding season for geese?we are planning having her set on eggs when she begins laying.will this behavior stop once she has babies.because of worrying about her baby's. the geese free range with chickens and ducks.she doesn't bug them. She was free ranged with the turkeys before and never
