Aggressive Mating Drakes, Picking on New Ducklings

I raise buffs and have four drake's..four generations. . I have.cattle panels cut into 8 ft and four foot lengths..then covered with hardware cloth...Everyone is great til about March..then I watch to see which drake is chosen by ducks...then they become a pair for the season, unless I want to breed specific pairs...i band both with same color and they have their own space...and own small house..sectioned off with the fencing..after hens reach 25 days of sitting..ALL drake's are removed to a complete separate enclosure..they are not allowed back with my ducks until duckling are mature..this is usually 8 to 10 weeks..then I observe..usually no problems. But like humans some just don't get along..these drake's get culled. No sense breeding bully birds..Save yourself some stress and heartache..separate them until the duckling are mature..whatever age that is for your breed..I also keep each duck and her ducklings separate from the others momma and babies just to be extra safe..
