Agressive!!!!

Try to keep the chick busy with other things. I had to hang a watermelon for my chicks to peck at. you could also try clipping the beak. I found that if there is something to destract the pecker it helps alot.

Another thing they like is suet cakes. You should be able to get them at your local Co-Op.

I found the eldest - then the two eldest - would keep pecking at the youngest's beak, eyes and toes. I got really worried and would knock on the glass (they were in an aquarium) when they did it. I took the smallest out and popped her back in the then empty incubator just to give her a chance to rest some and fiugure out which way is up. They soon stopped doing it, once they relaised that beaks and toes don't produce food. I think they really stopped cos the two yungest grew a lot quicker than the two oldest lol... They quickly started sucking up to them!

I have found that the older chicks are not really being mean they are trying to get the egg tooth off the little ones beaks. I had this issue too when I had several different ages together. The older ones always pecked at the babies beaks. The egg tooth looks like a white or light colored bump on the beak. It is for breaking out of the shell. As soon as it came off there were no more problems for me.
