She is darling!

There is a hunter jumper trainer a few miles from here and he has a black fresian and it is simply gorgeous. I just realized what it was yesterday...from reading up on this thread and googling fresians on the web

They are addictive. Black is the breed standard. Some people try to breed out a red color, which I think look awful- and its not an approved color.

I think I need about 9 more. Maybe 11 more. I need more...
 
Oh boy! Look at those long legs! She is so adorable! I love when they are just so lanky that they don't know what to do with themselves.

You will have so much fun with her...but waiting for her arrival was the easy part! LOL, I love working with my horses, but it sure can be a challenge sometimes! Since every horse is different, no one training program will work the same way with every horse. Sometimes I think that is the fun part though. My dad and I always say that a trained horse is less fun than one that still needs work

And I definitely don't think you'll be ruining her with western pleasure! You'll be making her better! LOL I've ridden both english and western, but I just love western so much.
