I think it's all over... I was talking to one of the "Feed" stores here and they can't keep chicks in stock! Same with one 10 miles away. Amazing. Is there just a surge of back yard farmers?

Mine will be here tomorrow, and my fiance says I'm running around like a 3 year old waiting for Santa, I just can't stand it. Its Sunday and I've already tried contacting the post office twice...just in case. Its been busy both times, maybe some other crazy woman is calling on sunday to get her chickens. I thought it was bad when i was waiting on my batch to get here. I had ordered something like 4 different kinds. But with Andy's coming thats 3 each of 10 different kinds, plus the rare one!! And what could it possibly look like?! I dont think there is anything worse then the anticipation of new baby chicks, but also, nothing more exciting....

I am too getting my chickens on Wed. and I must look like a big mother hen running around trying to get things together.

I can hardly wait.
I'm going to go down to the post office and tell them what to expect on Wed. and give them my phone #.

Ok so... I have one miniature schnauzer, siamese cat, a beta.
I'm married 25 years and have one son. AND SOON to be a mother hen to 11 chicks... I hope they all survive!

Ok Guys, I'm waiting for the call from the post office, should be any minute now

My nephew is on his way, he'll be going with me to pick up our newest members of the family. To tell you the truth, if they don't call today I dont know who would be more upset, my little nephew or me

Believe me, you'll know if I got em, I'll be snapping and posting pictures as soon as they get out of the box

How exciting! I hope they arrive today. Can't wait to see your pics. Mine will be here May 21. I scheduled the date so they arrive after a week long vacation for us. Even though I set the date - the wait is still killing me!!! On the up side - that gives us enough time to be certain the coop and the brooder will be all set up and waiting on them when they get here. Still.....the wait!!!!!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I'm glad someone had some luck today! Mine are in transit. Shipped today and I don't think I will sleep a wink tonight.

If they don't get here first thing, I am going to camp out at the post office!
