AHHHH!!! WHAT IS HAPPENING IN MY EGG???

newbie questoin. ok i candled last night (day 7) and quite
a few were this way.
some of them had a ring around the egg and some had
black dots swishing around?
can sone1 please explain this??????????

If that ring is dark red like blood its dead.... cant really tell too good but does it still have veins looking like a spider or have they disapeared?

yes it is a blood color.

it dosn't have like a wad of veins but in some egg it looked like a spider web?

The black dots swishing around is a good thing

Do not give up on eggs with a ring too soon. I have had several I thought were blood rings and seemed to have lost their veining, but because I had little experience I did not want to throw them out. About half of those eggs were dead, the others developed anyway. You do want to keep a closer eye on suspicious eggs though as they can explode if the embryo really is dead.

That would be gross, lol.

ETA: I did not see your second picture the first time ... are there multiple swishing dots in the egg? Or are that eggs dots not swishing?

there seems to be more than 1 dot and diferent sizes?

Do they wiggle on their own, or float around when you move the egg? Was it shipped? It is possible that the air cell is ruptured. I have had several shipped eggs with air bubbles floating around in them from a ruptured air cell.

they was shipped (and none cracked) the dots will move when u move the egg more easily but they r not very stable when u hold the egg still.

It does sound like the air cells were probably ruptured in those eggs. I usually set them anyway because I just cannot help it, lol ... but I do not think I have ever had one like that make it.

I would leave them in till day 14 and candle them again you'll know more then.
