I've got the bobwhite quail as my notification sound for text msgs and emails. You would be surprised how many people will hear it and not know what it is!

Birds are awesome!! I love walking into my aviaries! Although I don’t get any time away from my birds at the moment because I’m currently hand rearing two baby Zebs and they are rather demanding lol! I have Zebs, Turks, cockatiels, budgies, canaries, Chinese quail and a gold finch!

So what kind of birds do you have?

In the aviary we have bengalese finches (two who I had to hand rear from two weeks old who are still adorably friendly), fawn java finches, bourkes parakeets, a pair of ringneck doves, and button/chinese quail. Inside we have four cockatiels I hand reared, and more button quail (lots at present). We also have Japanese/coturnix quail and chickens.

I love my little birds and cockatiels are about as big and noisy as I'd want to go, although I'd love to have some pheasants one day.

They have one in Jackson( about 45 mins) from me, but I know if I go I'll come back with something so I just stay at home lol
