Air cell in the wrong end

When candling eggs recently, I found I had a couple eggs that I had put what I thought was big end up only to discover that the air cell was on the other end of the egg. So I started candling to find the air cell before I set the eggs.

Today I found this. It seems pretty obvious which end is which, right?

Not so, the air cell is in the point of the egg.

I've started this egg incubating air cell up, but now I'm questioning if I should incubate this egg at all.

I had an egg that was pointy on both ends, the chick grew malpositioned but lived I'd give it a shot, you never know. It could be a perfectly fine chick.

It doesn't look like your egg was in that long, but I have seen people on day 16 that think there are 2 air cells, (one on top and one on the bottom) but there is actually only one air cell and the extra is clear fluid at the narrow tip. If that were to happen, the egg is behind because the tip by day 16 should be dark.

I got some shipped eggs and the air cells are not a perfect circle. What do you think? I have them resting right now with the air cell up. I got them this afternoon.

How long has the egg been in incubator?

This was before I put them in the incubator. It's been in for less than 24 hours now.
