I have a broody setting on some eggs and I needed to recheck a couple (after you get an exploding egg, you DON'T want another one!).

I checked some today and was wondering if the air cell shoudl move around the egg or if it will stay in one end of the egg? The eggs are 10 days old.

It's supposed to stay in the large end. Were these shipped eggs? The postal service detaches a lot of air cells.

Nope, they are eggs from my chickens. The air cell was staying on one end, so I guess that's a good thing!

yep, should be stuck....I had a broody on some eggs(dh make a coop I couldn't get into to get the eggs [IMG] ) I finally got the eggs but they had air bubbles free floating, assuming it was because they were bad [IMG]
    good luck [IMG]
