I have a broody setting on some eggs and I needed to recheck a couple (after you get an exploding egg, you DON'T want another one!).

I checked some today and was wondering if the air cell shoudl move around the egg or if it will stay in one end of the egg? The eggs are 10 days old.

It's supposed to stay in the large end. Were these shipped eggs? The postal service detaches a lot of air cells.
