I am on day 17 of incubating my eggs. The air sacs are not as big as all the charts I have seen they should be.
Is there something I need to do?

They look to be between day 14-188 size wise. I know which day I put them in so I know for sure they are on day 17.

trying very hard to have the best outcome. TIA

not the best(I usually use my phone and my hubby isn’t here to help take pictures)

50%. And salt tested? What’s that
To make sure your gauge is correct (assuming you have a separate hydrometer in the incubator) you put it in a bag and then submerge it in a salt and water mixture to see if it's accurate. You can find instructions online. 50% humidity is a little too high. It's too late to do anything now though. You'll just have to lockdown as normal.

Is there anything I need to watch out for when they start to hatch?
Make sure you up humidity to 65-70% for lockdown, but other than that just let them do their thing. If any stop in the middle of zipping for more than half an hour (make sure it's actually zipping) then you may need to assist. But you usually don't have to. And make sure the membrane stays a nice white color (if you can see it) instead of yellow or brown.
