AKC shih tzu puppies are here!!!! in Michigan*

Thanks stitch-a-bility !! Your little guy is adorable

Yeah I was trying to stay away from the high prices that some breeders charge for their pups. My prices are about average However, I do all the health screens including blood work, so I save the buyer all of that money for that vet care cost.

I had a friend buy a Shih tzu from a breeder and it ended up having liver issues. I would never want anyone to go through that. So I have all of my dogs checked and my pups check over before they go home.

I wish I could go lower but actually I think buyers will in the long run see that I have a pretty good deal.

and I spend the time and the money to be sure my pups are what I say they are.

Healthy loving puppies with a guarantee and really with that they only have one set of puppy shots depending on what week they take them home. They will already be wormed and on heartworm. All of this being done by my Vet.

William is a doll. Once you have Shih-Tzu...you can never enjoy another dog as much now can you?

I know!! I told DH last night how much I loved having a Shih-tzu.

I can't wait to find me a girl. When I get caught up with my orders, I'm going to make him some clothes. I made him a bow tie, but you can't see it from all his hair.

I'm planning on letting his hair grow. Unless I change my mind for some reason. When I meet the person that was giving him to me,

I didn't realize how beautiful he was until I laid eyes on him. There's things we are working on (for example -

house breaking), but he's worth it.

Have any of you checked out the Shih-tzu forum.

It's really neat. My name on there is stitch-tzu.

I can't wait to see new pictures of your babies candrnyen.

I think Shih-tzu's are the best and prettiest dog AROUND!!!

Oh stitch---Belly bands are really nice when you are doing the housetraining thing Also if you are getting a girl and not fixing him it helps with the marking issue as well.

how old is he? My shih tzus love their T shirts.

Oh I never thought of a belly band. I've been sooo busy with orders and had planned to make some to sell. I guess I need to make William one. Can you tell me exactly how to use one? I know how to put it on (I think), just when do I use it? How does it fit in with potty training? Thanks

you used it last Sat. to take pics of the puppies, now what room were you in? Are you charging the batteries? Oh, my goodness, this is not good

I Can't find it anywhere!! I am wondering if one of my girls took it to school for some reason --without asking

I looked everywhere my 2 year old would have put it if she got ahold of it. But I am sure if she had it the other one would have told on her.

I guess I will have to wait until the kids come home and ask the darlings if they know where it is.

After you take him outside if you have him running loose in the house (carpet area ) put it on him. then if he does have an accident it doesn't ruin your carpet or couch

You can line it with a women's pad to absorb better. Still watch him and make sure if he does have an accident he knows he it was wrong.

It is used really for your house protection. kinda like a pull up is on a toddler.

Have lots of patience with the house training Shih tzus are really stubborn if you haven't learn that already.

Once they know that you are in charge and they aren't it makes everything alot easier.

Talk about them being stubborn! My Oliver has attitude!! If I offer him something and he doesn't like it or it is hot, he will make a loud snuffling noise and turn away and be mad about it. He goes under the bed if he thinks he "might" get a bath or I am going somewhere without him. He tries to "talk" to me. LOL They all have such different personalities. I have one that is so easy going, one that is a yapper(I hate yappers LOL) and one that thinks that he is the boss around the others, of course Oliver will take so much of it and put him in his place. Although it sounds really bad when they get to fussing with each other...it is only noise, no one bites.

Here is our little spoiled rotten girl...Star....she is a tomboy so we keep her clipped.

She is 4 1/2 years old and was given to us when she was 5 weeks old. Her mom was not feeding the puppies. We don't know what we would do with out her.

and this is our newest rescue....she is an apricot poodle from a breeder who threw her away....wasn't good enough for her she told the animal control. Her name is Ginger and she is 5 years old and my shadow.

I have a lab mix rescue I got her when she was older though I like to rescue the older ones

everyone should have at least one rescue
