Seriously though; I have never tasted duck nor a duck egg.

I have duck eggs right now. My hen started laying again. I just have no idea if dad is willing to part with them.

I will be hatching any and everything in May. I am getting my chicks and ducks in a row

I don't think I could keep her from going broody that long. She lays about 25 before she broods them. Guess who has to stick their hand under the duck to get the older ones?

Pinson Alabama hear, I need help, looking for good built chicken coop, either by part cash/trade or payments, just been diagnosed with colon problems, I want for my kids, so they want think about me, will have six hens and a rooster, need a tractor coop or walk in coop, please help

i am new here and to silkies
i have no clue how i got a partridge from the ones i got
i have to let the lady know he is a partridge...
i learned by looking at them on google lol that was his color
he is so beautiful
well as much as i have seen of that color but i
dont know how they are suppose to be colored and where the markings should be
i hope to learn all that and maybe he will be good enough for show but
i am new so i have lots to learn

I have been trying to find info on beak injuries.
I am new (a few months) to having my first Silkies ever.
I have 2 black ( I think) and 1 solid white and 1 Partridge? (which is a total surprise).
Today I had to pull out a staple that was embedded in the bottom beak and thru the bottom
of her tongue and both ends were hooked. It was heart breaking.
It took me a while to get it out, I was trying so hard to be easy and slow.
i did get it out whew thank the Lord..
she is doing fine so far, it had to have hurt but no infection noticed.
