Can anyone help me out and identify these bantams? A neighbor bought all a lady near Scottsboro had and forgot what they were called. The roosters are all red like the one in the pictures and all the hens are kind of a golden like the ones here. I would like to know what they are.

It was gorgeous weather, so the kids got to play outside for an hour or two. They filled their bellies with a pile of clover and yummie bugs I caught for them

It took them forever to get out the carrier, they don't trust their own momma! The two Australorps didn't like it much, they only peeked out twice or so, along with the Jersey gal. My sex-links are the same age as the Australorps but they're much more adventurous. One of the rocks is always first to check stuff out. She was running around squawking, until she realized there were treats involved.

Also realized the divider I put in to keep the future sand in place should've been untreated, but, c'est la vie. Can't really change it now. I may screw a little untreated top on it.








Also, I thought barring in sex-links means they're boys... as you can see, mine are barred as can be. And you can see Mr. Roo standing in front of the pet taxi. Look at that comb!

Still gotta finish the coop area. Probably putting the floor in tomorrow. Wanted to paint the walls before I couldn't reach it anymore. We're putting fence pickets over the tar paper outerwalls, cheap and 'rustic' looking
