ALABAMA!!

So sorry, Orps. :( I lost one of my new chicks the day after I picked them up. I picked it up,, stroked it, and prayed. It's never easy. My other newbie chicks are doing well. I try to remember that it is nature taking its course, but it is still hard. Hope and pray that you others continue to do well.

Blessings!

Hi! I'm new to the site! I live in Argo, Al. I started with 5 chicks one died and I'm down to 4. They are 3 weeks old today. They are so much fun! I have a coop outside but right now the chicks are in a brooder we made from a horse trough and in my house. I'm new to all things chicken. But look forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome! You really have lucked out by coming here! I'm brand new to chickens myself, I just got 15 sweet babies from Wisher1000 on here, they will be three weeks old on Thursday. I have 9 Easter Eggers and 6 Black Orpingtons, they are growing so fast! These guys are so friendly and informative, make sure that if you have any questions, post them on here! There's a lot of really good info on here too, just type what you're looking for into the search bar. I've leaned so much just by reading the articles and about people's experiences.
