I like AL but their neighborhood is not good for me. Put the house in the country and I'd be there in a heartbeat. I like people but want my solitude too.

I'm sorta the same way, minus the people. Give me the home in the country on a good chunk of land and I am happy. Just antisocial and see less and less need for other people, mainly a growing feeling since I signed my discharge papers...

I beleive we all need someone. While I am retired I do volunteer work at my children old school. Sure there are people who are pains in the neck, but I figure we are all someones pain in the neck.

I tried hugging trees but it just wasn't the same as hugging a live person.
