ALABAMA!!

How on earth can u teach a chicken tricks. Mine can eat, drink, and poo. Thats about all

I clicker train dogs all the time so it wasn't hard to transition it to the chickens. And my zoo keeper friends clicker train the animals at the zoo using the same method. And strangely enough there are videos on youtube.

Well, when folks start accusing me of being a crazy chicken lady, I'll just point at you Orps "I'm not crazy, I haven't even STARTED clicker training mine!"

That said.... chickens trained to lay eggs on demand... now that would be something

(kidding. I know they can't do that)

Here is a short video when I began teaching them the target.

so after that crazy fast storm swept through here I went out to check on the chooks. All the "big birds" (olders hens and roo) were nice and dry b/c they are smart and stayed in their coop during the storm.

The 10 little heifer's were SOAKING wet! For some reason they didn't get the memo to stay inside.

I put a heat lamp on them so they could dry off and warm up. when they're dry I'll take it back down.

ugh...they are going to give me ulcers.

Wish i could get mine to use a litter box

Birds can't control their output. When they have to go, they have to go.

Have you see the chicken diaper that some of the BYC people are selling. There are even instructions on BYC to make one too. I thought it was very funny.

I was very surprized to see the black and white come out to be a female..I love her color. the other splash didn't get black in until she molted first time.her picture is when she was about 6 months old
