Well I have had Chickens for about 3 years but I recently sold out for this fall I am building a large coop about 6 ft wide 18 ft long I have been a big fan of RIR but I think I am going to swap to all buffs next spring.

NavyChickens, have you thought about show chickens? If you like to stick to only one breed, you might really enjoy it.

Never thought about showing any but I am intrigued.Me and the wife enjoy there personality's and ridiculous behaviors but I think I will research it and maybe give it a go next year any recommendations where I can either get very young pullets or my secondary chose eggs in the spring I only want about 8 hens to keep for laying

I started 4 years ago with 10 black australorps. That number grew... fast!

I picked up 3 last winter. Yep right there with RIR's and Doms as favorites.
