ALABAMA!!

I have a good friend that lives near the Thomas's on McCrary. Oh, Thomas's BBQ Ummmmmm!

OMG, I am so close to McCrary that I could throw a stone and hit McCrary. Do the Thomas's that own Thomas's BBQ live on McCrary? It's not the big house with all the horses (and sometimes Buffalo and sometimes donkies and sometimes it's all white horses, then it's all minature horses)? Or is it the one with the private ball field and the really cute playhouse out back?

That is too cool. I only wish they had more bbq's at their house and then invite me.....LOL.

I need the help of all my Al. BYCers. I have been told of a man who lives in Cullman (city or co. I don't know) that sells chickens. BR, Australorps ameraucanas. Any body know who this might be and how I can get in touch?

I don't know who that is, but I was at Lacon Trde Days today and a man there had all of the ones you mentioned, plus some others. He was very reasonable as far as price. He may be there tomorrow, But I won't be. You can go and check it out if you like.

Any luck rehoming your roos? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you'll end up with more pullets. What do you bet we've passed each other in a store aisle or on the road?

No luck so far. I had one other BYC'er contact me but nothing solid so far. Talked with some folks at a picnic this week they said the Ardmore Dog Days Flea Market usually has chickens being sold and I thought I might try that or maybe go to the Cedartown Swap on June 13th.

I still have 11 baby roos and one 8 week old roo. He is my biggest concern because each week we are playing the russian roulette (roo-lett) of crowing. Will he crow this week or next.

If you know of anyone that needs, I mean NEEDS baby roos steer them my way.

If you see me on the road I'm the one in the silver Subaru.

Did you offer them up on Craigslist? Freecycle? I had a hit on my Porcelain d'Uccle roo the day after I listed it on CL. Good luck!
