DW and I are coming to the Montgmery area. DS is military and live in Millbrook. Anyone in the area have chickens we can come and visit? My GD loves chcikens and I know she'd like to see some. Plus if anyone has hatching eggs for sale I might consider carrying some home to hatch if the breed is right.

You can contact me by PM if you'd like.

Thanks

Rancher.... just a thought for you:

There is a Poultry Auction every night night in the town of Millbrook. I've never been there but I have friends that attend regularly and they really enjoy watching the chickens, ducks, rabbits, quail, pheasants, as well as hatching eggs and poultry related items run through. I'm going buy memory, but I believe it is Saturday night starting at 6:00 or 7:00 PM.

Also, there is an auction in Eclectic on Friday night. There is a thread on this place somewhere if you will do a search to find it. I've been there...haha....this group is a sight to behold but will welcome you like you're family!! (You know you're in the country when you have to go through the trailer park to get to the place!)

Both of these are within reasonable driving distance for you. If you are interested in more information just P.M. me and I'll see what I can find out for you!

Looks like from your name that you have ameraucana. What color?

I have three Toulouse geese for sale, they are about a year old and it looks like two girls and a boy. They are brother and sisters.
Sadly they decided that they weren't going to get along with our two Moscovies or the chickens.
We had their parents and the original stock came from Sundown waterfowl.
For more info and pics, pm me.

They are also for trade, young laying hens or chicks, Barnvelders, Buff Orps, etc.

I'm located near central Alabama.
