Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

Yea. I generally don't have that problem. They are outside before they can fly around. Once they start fluttering and getting some height
out the door they go. These two will obviously be inside for quite sometime though.

*sigh* It's raining again! We got 4 walls, a floor, nest boxes and a roost all done on the tractor this weekend, but we had to quit due to excessive wetness. I got some insulation board from some friends yesterday...yay! Hope everyone had a nice weekend!

Yep, as soon as the Fair starts, it starts raining...It won't stop now until it snows at the end of October..

The grass can't be mowed, and it's all flopped over because it's so wet it can't stand up! I hated living in Oregon just because of this sort of weather!!

That being said, pics coming soon of the Spangled Orloff chicks I'm keeping til one is old enough to go home with Donna.

Yea Bonnie, you're right, this year sucks, but as a general rule you know when the Fair starts, its time for the rainy season.......

I just brought in a load of gravel/sand for the side of my yard that's not covered for the birds...I don't look forward to spreading it but
I sure look forward to not watching them walk around in mud...!
