DONNA!! Tomorrow is the day!!! I hope I wake up to chicks... that would be SOOOOOOOOO much easier. Deb said if they pip and have troubles you have to come help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so anxious for your eggs to hatch WW!

This is the first year I have lived in Alaska that I have felt stressed by the impending winter. Always before, I simply looked forward to it. I couldn't WAIT for the snow to fly! This year, it just seems like there is still so much to do! We still have an entire bathroom/mud room addition to complete on the house, not to mention building my winter coop and cages.

Ahhhhh! The good news is that I heard it's supposed to start clearing off tomorrow and be sunny through the weekend. Got my fingers crossed for that one, too!

Rachel, I know exactly what you mean... There was not nearly enough vitamin D and I am feeling the SAD thing already with winter coming on and like you say, too much to do still undone due to weather..... Rats.

I've decided to give up my Rex rabbits to focus on the Silver Fox and Thrianta. I have a pretty Sable Martin doe and a red-eyed white buck for her. Anyone here interested? They aren't pedigreed, but are nice rabbits for show, meat or fur. Would make a good 4-H project if anyone knows a deserving kid. They are both sweet little things.

I have officially ran out of cage space, even with the new hutch built. I have one spot left for a beautiful little grey
that's coming back from a breeding I did with Clyde and Peggy Lee.....(Mamma & Ice) I have a couple of possible
homes for the Sandy's and even one 4H home but nothing set in stone yet. Definitely no room for rex...

I have to consolodate before winter.....The feed bill will be outrageous! (what am I saying, it already is!) lol....

Last breeding of the season. I think we're officially out of cage space too... but I wouldn't mind seeing a photo of your sable, Rachel!
