Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

Great! Which one did you order? I see they kinda jacked up the prices to reflect the "free shipping"......I'll have
to do some digging to see which one is the best deal per pound. My little one pound bag has lasted me for about two years now......

Congratulations Mrs. Deb.....
Fill the bator and have fun!
you must have a secret shake for it~!
Wow 1 pound of DE lasted 2 years, I used 1 pound last winter; just on the 34 hens, bedding, nestboxes in the little coop (4x7)!

Nope, just gonna mix it with coffee or juice or something...LOL

I am gonna put it in the dog kennels too... I have... 10x50 feet of kennel. Plus the coop, plus three tractors now, and the goose pen.

Yea we just use it mostly on our plants. ......a little bit goes a long way....I used to spread it in my coop as well as a drying agent, but found that the stove pellets worked better and were
less expensive....DE works great on plants for aphids but you have to be careful, it also kills bees....We didn't have much luck using it to fend off Lice....we had to take more drastic measures when it came to that
and had to get the Garden and pet dust

I haven't had the guts to use it in my body yet. I still have a whole thing of organic ACV with the "mother" in it that I haven't touched for myself either...... The chickens get it all the time
though. So it'll get used either way.

I used inside the chicken Coop, and in the bedding in the nestboxes. I sprinkled some in the pine shavings so when the chickens start dust bathing in the bedding they get a little on them......
seems they liked it.

I take the ACV a few times a week 1 tablespoon ACV in warm water with a tablespoon of honey just to boost the immine system, as I have allergies and it seems to help me.

The chickens get AVC a few times a week in their water other days they get the Rooster Booster Electrolytes & minerals.

We don't have many bees here for some reason. Plan on using it right outside the cabin door too where the two indoor dogs go out. Hoping it helps control some of the bugs just in general around here.

@ Deb... yes, those are Bourbon Red eggs.

Those eggs from Sabrieta are beautiful! And not that you need any justification, but a full incubator holds the temps better than one that is only half full.

I know... I'm a snot.

ETA: I order the Ivomec online... I'm not sure who I got it from, though... might have been First State Vet. Or Jedd's.
