Alaska Chicken Lover's Soup for the Cold!!

This is for mites right? I don't have any sign yet but am keeping an eye out since it appears to be going around...
No AK? Great.

It's for all the little parasites I guess? I just got off fighting lice and am trying to do preventative maintenance. That was a pain dusting all those birds!

Just as a venting grumble.... I tend to divert people that are walking their dogs away from my house side of the property. Today there was a couple, got out of their truck and was walking in a beeline for that side... I stepped out and told them where the dog walking area was and he responded with a "WHY?" and I said because I have dogs and chickens over there and it's my house. "He won't hurt them." I looked at him and a laugh escaped me (He had a smallsih dog) and I said, "Well mine might!" He got mad, went back to his truck and left.

I don't need dingbats like that, no respect for others property.

You got that right.
I love people that are dense about their own self centered behavior. Apparently, if we live in rural areas, our property is open to entry. Once a fellow broke into our locked cabin in the bush. No emergency, he just decided he didn't want to camp out if there was a nice cabin there. So he burns all the stacked wood on the porch (so it's not covered with snow when we get there in the winter) and leaves a note so we know he's a lawyer in Anchorage... Now tell me, if I moved in to his house in town "because I liked it better than a hotel" would he call the cops or not?

Um, really? Cuz I'm about to place an order, and their website states:

Additonal note: All orders to APOs, FPOs, Guam, Hawaii, or Alaska will ship
USPS Priority Mail unless noted otherwise during checkout.

Are you sure?

What about the Eprinex? theres no meat or egg withdraw with it?

Are you using Jeffers? Their "estimate your shipping" didnt have Alaska in the drop down menu

No, because it's only a couple of drops externally. The Ivomec pour-on/Eprinex/Ivermectin is an oily liquid that I use a plastic disposable eyedropper to dispense. Only a couple of drops at the base of the tail, or just above the vent, and a couple on the neck. That's it. I had a broody silkie that I discovered to be seriously infested after 3 weeks of setting... she would move across the table without twitching a muscle!

I put a couple of drops here, there, and after a few hours held her over a sheet of newspaper and ruffled her up a bit... the lice just rained down.

So once a month, every two months at least, I go into the coop at night and dose everyone up while they're sleeping.

Works great, and no withdrawal time.

I just placed an order, so they DO ship... and the price on the Ivomec is good, too.

I agree. I'm always the 'bad guy' because I don't want to pick up poop from 10 dogs, that's why I have NINE. Donna, I think it's one of the reasons a LOT of the local folks don't come here is because I have RULES and they don't think the rules apply to them. One person in particular that has a beautiful black & white husky that is just a sweetheart, owner doesn't give a crap because everytime owner is at the lodge, pup is running over here... the last time the pup was here with SOMEONE ELSE i told that person if the dog was here again it would likely end up in a trap that's around my chicken runs... (there really aren't)... the next time I saw the dog here, it was locked in the truck....

Yeah, that's good for him too. What WILL happen the next time it's here, it will be put in a pen and taken to the pound. He's such a sweetie that someone will adopt him... cuz I'm sure the owner won't get him.
