Purty babies!! Are these the ones that took a week from Washington to get here??

Your sig line makes me think of Fried Green Tomatoes "Face it honey, I am older, and I have better insurance."

I loved the slinky one too. Its my warped sense of humor.

Ladies, I have a couple of roos that are not fighting amongst themselves so much as being mean to the younger birds, trying to mate with 5-7 week old pullets and cockerels. Both of these (and a few others) are slated for freezer camp, but they aren't old enough yet. I have tried the upside down thing and then holding them on my lap on their backs for a bit and tho this seems to work for a day or two, it's not permanent enough for me to be happy that they won't harm one of the younger birds. I have the two of them in a dog kennel for the night and it's in the coop.

Any other suggestions to make them live a couple more weeks and get some more weight on them?
