I still have the electrolyte stuff, in fact that's what we've been giving Willow in his water when he stopped eating. And the regular should be fine too... do we really need the medicated up here? Isn't that for all the weird things that can't handle our cold temps?

BirdBrain, I don't think I will be ready for him by tomorrow. When is your next re-fueling on the feed? Also, which feeds do you get at Budget? Just their textured layer stuff? That's what I've been feeding. I also like their dog food. Thank you for picking one out for me, he sounds nice! Sorry about your eye, I've been there. That's rough. What's worse is that I wear contacts and I literally couldn't see well enough to work until it healed up and I could put my contact back in!

Rachel, I get the chick crumbles and pellets. (I figured to wait on the layer feed until they get closer to 18-19 weeks.) They are the same thing...just that the crumbles are smaller. I fed the pellets to the meaties. I just opened my second to last bag and with 56 chickens that doesn't last long. No problem about waiting. We plan to come out for the fair. Do you work the fair? If you do that might not be the best hand off time. Let me know.

Who ever ends up with Orloff's just keep your eye out for a not so Orloff looking fluffy butt.......We did our best to identify everyone but you know how that goes!

Donna if they come tomorrow, what do I do with the egg that's in there? I suppose the waiting day will take it to Thursday and by then there's no chance of hatching?
