I ended up with 3 chicks from the last hatch, 2 of mine and 1 of Donna's BCMs... They're doing pretty good, tho one has pasty butt that I have to keep cleaning up.

DH has the crud and I'm ready to call it a night, myself. I stopped over at Mr. Prime Beef here in Anchorage, and picked up a box of meat scraps for $5. It weighs about 25#, if anyone has dogs or other animals that might like scraps of meat. I'll see what's actually in the box when it's defrosted, then I'll separate it into bags and refreeze them. Can the chickens eat chicken, or is that wrong?

My mom's chickens are a bunch of cannibals with no sense of propriety...they just love butchering day.
