Ban seabhag ~ I have blue Orps of my own, but I am hoping to get some eggs from some of the BYC'rs on here and try a few other breeds. I have a few familys in my 4-H club who dont have bators so Ill hatch whatever for the kids.
I am so glad they are coming through. It's so much fun even at a distance.

By the way, I am parting with my Hovabator 1586 (the one with the picture window top) I only used it once and I have 2 Brinseas. I am going to stick with them I think.

Well i'm going on a Missions trip to Nome starting the 12th of march to the 18th so I will start incubating right after!!!!!!! I have someone who I just got money from who wants me to hatch 80- 100 barnyard mix chicks for him so i will be busy! I have a friend and we both paid have for a Brinsea 'bator. So Hopefully I can use it, if not ill have to find another. he also wants 6-8 ducklings. It will be fun for sure!!

Yes. It's very clean and since I only used it once and all of the eggs save 4 went into the Brinsea to hatch there was not much to clean up. I still have the box it came in. I bought it new about a month ago, but I don't need the capacity now.
