Oh Deb... I'm sure he'll take your fears to heart and do the right thing. maybe to a followup with him in a week or so to see how he likes them.

So sweet. I think the orps are some of the prettiest chicks around. They go through an "ugly duckling" stage at about 4-6 weeks, but you've seen the finished product...

I'm seriously thinking about a coop addition.

I just finished hatching out 12 of the 15 eggs sent from North Carolina. All are happy and healthy. (The 3 were clear and didn't go into lockdown)

We are busy beavers around here. I bought another coop (that makes 3) and it came with 24 chickens and 6 turkeys all are a year old. So far I have 8 turkey eggs that I am putting in the incubator today. Can't wait to see if they are fertile (I have one Black Spanish tom in the bunch and they just started laying)

TORI - the eggs have arrived and not a one is damaged

They are going in the bator before I leave for work tonight. Thanks for the Ameraucana eggs. I told husband you "just sent them as extras".
