Crossing my fingers for you too!!!!

Did anyone else feel that earthquake? I was sitting on the floor staring into the hatcher when all of a sudden the ground seemed like
it disappeared lol!

Nope, didn't feel a thing. Though, growing up in SoCal, and now living here, it has to be an 8.0 right under my butt for me to pay attention to it!! LOL!

thanks Pandora!

Oh man what a night for you Deb.. I hope you got some sleep! How's it going so far?
Yeah we felt that jolt...It went on for a while here.. Good luck to everybody with hatches

didn't feel much of it here.....Thank god, But my parrots and inside chicks are really noisy today. Guess it messed with their sleep patterns.... since they all sleep in like me......
lol

When the '64 quake happened, my Dad was stationed in D.C. There was a note in the paper there, that 2=3 minutes before the quake in Alaska, the aviary at the Zoo went nuts, with the birds screaming and trying to fly. The Keeper said they must have sensed the quake somehow, and reacted to it even that far away. I think birds are very sensitive to such things.

I just have the two Dellies now, we went ahead and put the BCMs out of his misery.

Thats ok, now I have two hatches that arent due for quite sometime (one was set on the 25th, the other on the 28th), once hubby gets to
feeling better (he woke up not feeling well today, could have something to do with the fact that
since he hit the ground we haven't stopped) we'll get the hatcher working, I HOPE!
My new incubator is sitting in Anchorage and should be here soon.....

I'm sorry about the BCM Deb

I have my last eggs due the end of next week...15th.

Hi everyone! My eggs are set! I have 6 from Deb, and I think 30 from Susan. My bator has been holding steady at about 43-45% for the last couple of days, so that's okay right?
Oh and some of the eggs I got from Susan were in the carton small end up...I'm not sure if they were stored like that or if they were the ones she collected for me tonight while I was there.
When I got there, she was delivering goat triplets!

She also has a beautiful peacock, I fell in love, he was struting his stuff.
