Hey Tori,
27 out of the 30 quail eggs went into lockdown tonight (or this morning?)

The Ameracauna eggs looked pretty good

Denali only had 6 out of her 36 D'Uccles hatch. 1 self blue, 1 buff columbian and 4 millies. We had just separated out the colors. We set 5 dozen more of her eggs tonight.
I had 35 out of 48 of my buff orp and black sex link hatch Sunday.
I am currently awaiting a shipment of eggs from Oklahoma, should be here tomorrow.
Good hatching vibes to all.
Good night and good morning.

ok so nose stuck to the incubator, at 2:40 AM I decided I needed to set more eggs. lol
So I took 30 eggs from my flock, and placed in the Still Air, in the turner and watched the temp it is holding steady at 100.5 so here we go these should be due April 29th.
once this hatch is over I will switch the top of the incubators around (moving the forced air one to the new eggs). All are Light brahma or Light Brahma cross.

At 7:20 AM nose back on the hatching incubator, there is still just one black chick, and 23 eggs, no pips or zips can be seen.

So now we wait..........patience

I don't know how much she has extra or if she sells it, but I'll ask about that for you next week when she comes if you like.

Off to finish my chores before bed... last rounds with the water, take away the cornishX feed for the night, the little piranhas, and set chicken eggs.

Took two more orders for birds today, too... and anyone that wanted Bourbon Red Turkeys, I have 7 people on the tentative list so please confirm? Thanks!!

Sounds like it...Do you know where the epicenter was... Meadow lakes?

Hey ladies,

Im not ignoring you all, I just have a quick question and Im off and running again.

One of my 2 1/2 week old chicks is walking with a wobble, dragging her toes and not walking well. But she's acting perfectly fine otherwise. Does she just
need extra vitamins? She's also walking on her whole legs like she is afraid to stand all the way upright...

Hey Deb, we use an old wall charger plug from a cell phone. It has a built in inverter, it's also heavier duty than you need. Just cut the end off that would plug into the cell phone and pull the wires apart for a few inches. Strip the wire and twist to the fan wires. If the fan runs correctly attach them perminently. If the fan runs backwards switch them before perminently connecting. We get old charger cords from the salvation army for $1-2.

Thanks guys/gals! We just got back from all the Houston City crud, our recall for our Mayor has passed! YEA! All my hard work has paid off....(grin)

Anyhow, we went to Radio shack and they set us up with a adjustable inverter. We have the fan wired we just don't think it moves enough air
for the size of cooler we have.....so we'll see. We'll let it stabilize and see if it helps. Jim also made a water wiggler out of an easter egg and silicone......
