We made our syrup over a wood fire when we lived in the bush... It had a slightly smokey taste that I really liked. We will have to try that again sometime.

awsome
what kind of incubator are you using

my humudity is to hi how can i lower it

This is a Brinsea Octo 20 manual. (You turn the bator to turn the eggs and never open it except to add water) It has 13 Jaerhons in it now (7 pipped one out), and will hold 20-24 medium to large eggs. Its a great bator, holds an even temp, and has a fan. Pretty efficient too. I really like it. It was on sale when I bought it for 105.00 but is going for 95.00 or was last week.
What is your humidity? 35-40 (rough estimate) is where I keep it but make sure your hygrometer is accurate. Have you added water?

Yay for your babies Donna! So cute.

Good luck with your broody! I have some eggs under a Standard Cochin due to hatch next week. She is amazingly faithful to those eggs.
