I was just outside enjoying the babies with my broody and #3 didn't look like she was doing so good so I picked
her up and where her umbilical cord was, was a bunch of yellow stuff. I looked it over closely and about that time this yellow almost
yolk looking stuff just came pouring out of her. I'm assuming she had so sort of infection? I brought her back in, wiped it down and put some
antibiotic ointment on the area....she's pretty vocal now, back under the broody. I just hope she'll be ok!

Hey everybody, my mom is on my phone right now and has a question..
My mom picked up 12 silkies from 3D, she has five that have diarrhea and she has so far lost one of them yesterday. Started out with two with diarrhea and now its five. Any thoughts? They are getting their medicated chick starter and were getting vitamin B in their water but she has stopped that.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to wind and Rain, I had to play round up the youngsters again this morning.......there were 5 out running around the yard......well at least I know they got excerise and greens today!

I guess I will have to add more weight to the tarp, and not use the fence to tie to anymore. lol

Tyler J was born at 12:47pm, today 7 pounds 15 ounces!!!
