I am sure loving Iceman, he's so soft. I'm sorry you couldn't get him in time Donna.

Deb, after a funfilled dirt, chicken poo and chicken chasing time, we topped Joseph off with an ice cream cone on the way home. Oy you should have seen the bath water!

Mr. Roo was so happy to be here, he ran right in the coop and started chattin' everyone up. He's going to be big. Thank you again.
Oh and everyone, Debs dogs are cute in the pictures she posted, but in real life,

He is a cutie Donna. I'm jealous!

Our meat birds came in at 6:45 this morning from MMH. They were shipped Saturday at 12:30m am, so not too bad on the travel time. There were no losses at all. Yet. They all seem very happy and healthy, but after the long trip we won't be surprised if there a few losses. They even sent 10 extra!

Our free rare chick looks like a gold laced wyandotte.

I like getting chicks in the mail.

I could see that becoming an issue in the future. Are you all sure you don't want to split an order?

He sure looks cute and his daddy is beautiful!
MMH? They sound like they know their stuff. The gold laces are very pretty, how nice to get one.
Did you ever hatch any BLRWs?

I hatched a ton of the Wildwood farm blrw. I only kept two, just to see how they'd turn out. One was a really dark chick, that once it started getting feathered out, looked like it might not have any blue at all. But now I'm seeing a really dark blue come in as they get longer.
The other has alot of light blue. I was looking and I think it may be a roo.
