I need advise,
One of the Light Brahma X Barred Rocks hatched yesterday can't stand, his neck is twisted upside down. I dont think I can fix it......
I was surprised to find him kicking in the hatcher this morning.........he can not sit normal either.......he lays on his back

I think I should just cull the poor dear......
 
I hate to say it, but you answered your own question. I usually try to give them 2-3 days to sort it all out, but after that it's time to say goodbye if nothing has changed.

Oh it is painful looking at those little guys. I have some replacement eggs coming from the place I got the ones I lost.. Maybe I will have better luck this time. I hope so after seeing your chicks!

Do you have a broody? Most of them hatched under the broody, and she did a much better job.
