I got 2 moss eggers from alchemist farm. Francesca said stance is usually how to tell them apart but that’s not really helping me. They are both 6 weeks old. The white one is bigger but s/he hatched a day earlier than the grey and they both had “female” wing feathers at a day old. Not sure if that matters as they are hybrids. They’re both sweet and enjoy being held. The grey has slightly more comb than the white. I really need help on these. I have absolutely no idea. I’ll keep updating as it’s early also.

Pullets

Looks pullety so far. Sidebar, Isn't 'Moss egger' their name for olive egger?
Yes, pretty sure these cuties are EE/OE that have Ameraucana and Marans in them. Marketing them with different names, but basically EEs. Looks like F2 olive eggers.
What they are calling OE are F1 olive eggers.
I think what Alchemist calls Sage Eggers are Welsummer/Legbar crosses.
Very pretty pullets.😊

Yes, this farm is near me and I have a coworker that got "moss eggers" from them. Apparently they invented the term? My coworker loves them and spoke highly of the farm itself and the people that run it

*edited for clarity
I have only heard good things about them as well. Must say they are very clever with their marketing. 😊

Yes they look like they have marans in them along with ameraucana. Their legs are feathered and their general build (especially the white) looks a lot like my fbc marans chick. On the website it also said they have a 50/50 chance of chocolateish brown eggs or a nice green so I’d bet that’s the cross.
