mbleily , Your birds are all so beautiful, really enjoyed looking at your Flock site! Where did you get your EE's from? They all have such a variety of colors.

Well, I ordered 6 EE's from Cackle ( as well as other breeds). So far I have been very happy with my order, I just hope that they turn out to be as pretty as yours and with as much variety. I can definitely see myself getting more EE's in the future, they are a little addicting

i ordered 25 brown sex link chicks from rochester and they accidentaly sent me an EE chick i think

My EE's are a little strange looking compared to the average EE.......due to fact i get bored alot....lol. But my girls lay large green and blue eggs for me

..........

Well, I just had to get in and post my 11 wk little EE roo. I bought 5 pullet Ameracauna's (feed store Ameracauna's AKA- Easter Eggers!) and well all I have left of the group of 5 is my beautiful little roo "Georgie" (he was going to be Georgia but by wk 3 I knew she was a Georgie). The 4 pullets died at night between the ages of 5wks - 10wks.

Sadly, I could not figure out the posting and do not have time or patience right now to do it but ....

I have a question ......

I have some pullets that look like EE's but do not lay green eggs. If they do not lay green eggs are they NOT a EE??? I also have a Barred Rock pullet with muffs and a beard who DOES lay a green egg so would she BE an EE? not a BR???

Thanks and when I have time and patience I will post a picture of Georgie! and of Sweetie (Barred Rock and her green egg!). EDIT: Georgie is in avatar along with Samatha, who died last week. No more feed store chicks for us!
