Hello, my Royal Palm Turkey hatched 12 eggs 2 months ago. This has been her third batch since we rescued her. All female chicks. Every single time. How is this possible?

At two months old, your belief that they are all hens may not be correct. Wait until they are 3 to 6 months old. Late developing toms can take as long as 6 months before clearly showing what sex they are.

FYI, newly hatched turkeys are poults.

In avian genetics the female determines the sex of the offspring because she possesses the differentiating chromosome. It is the reverse of mammalian genetics where the male determines the sex. There are times that hens will produce all female poults or chicks for that matter, other times they will produce all males or a good mixture of both. My luck is that mine will always produce all toms!!!!!
