All Gone

I am devastated this morning. Something spent all night digging, got into our coop and killed every last one of our chickens and guineas. I don't even know what else to say......I thought they were safe.

Oh no so sad, i'm so sorry. You really should catch whatever did this i'm guessing it will be back.

Right now there is nothing for it to come back for. :-(

It got our 7 Buff Orpington girls our little darling silver sebright and the four guineas.

I told my husband I wanted to get a trap just to catch whatever the heck did it. It didn't even eat them.....just killed them for fun. Due to the big storm we had last night all footprints were washed away.

My 11 yr old son who took over the chicken chores because he just loved to hang out with them and feed them treats cried all the way to school this morning. I feel so awful!

Sounds like a dog .. digging in, killing for fun, leaving the carcasses...

I am so sorry for your loss! If it didn't eat them, then it sounds like a dog. A wild animal would have eaten them. Have you seen any dogs wandering around there lately?
