All Grown Up Now ~ 41 Weeks Old~ New Pics Post 223(01/15/12)~

Sorry, no extra pullets at the moment!

That would be quite a trade, now wouldn't it? I think my DH would kill me if I had one more critter crowing around here, though.

It would be great for me, though.

After I saw the pictures of all your wonderful BR's, I walked up to my cockeral, stared at him, and said, "Why are you so ugly?

Oh, no, you'll give him a complex!

I still have my Zane and though he is pet quality, he's still a star in my eyes.

They're just over 11 weeks old now and thriving. Rex, the BR, still isn't crowing yet, but I'm expecting it soon.

Ida the Amazon. Pics just don't show how large this girl is.

Ah Zane is perfect! The babies are gorgeous....Rex is a handsome boy.

Gorgeous! I've lurked here more than I've posted and I'm always in awe of your birds - even the ones that you don't consider "show quality".

They're 12 weeks old tomorrow. halo, the third shows the splash Rock, Gloria Jean, lined up with one of the BR girls and you can see the size difference is becoming much more pronounced. The largest BR girl, Ida, is about as large as that huge Buff Orp pullet, I noticed today. The Phoenix, Molly, is 16 weeks, but she seems to get along just fine in this group.

This little guy is our Delawegger, Ranger, about 6 weeks. He'll look pretty much like a Delaware with a pea comb and the barest hint of ear muffs, but no discernible beard. If someone wants a unique EE rooster, or a rooster in order to create pea combed Delawares, he's your guy, as soon as his broody mama lets him go.
